[Qgis-user] startup.py on network folder

Hi,
I like to implement a centrally controlled QGIS environment for our workforce using startup.py. Is there any trick, to put startup.py on a network folder instead the user’s QGIS folder i.e. under Windows %user%\AppData\Roaming\QGIS\QGIS3?

PYQGIS_STARTUP environment variable to change the location does unfortunately not work.
