On that topic - I have repaired and re-georeferenced all the raster images
of all the SA topomaps ever made (electronically anyway) dating back to the
1930s. I will make the WMS layer available soon.

It's an open project we've called 'topostyle', to publish and style NGI topo
data for SA maps. We've been working on this for a month or two and are
making it open to avoid this effort being duplicated. There's quite a bit of
room for improvement of the styles in the map so contributors welcome!
