[Board] Proposal: sponsoring LocationTech Tour 2014

Hi Anne,

Thank you very much and Daniel for the supportive words & especially 
returning as an organizer and speaker.

Sadly I have a conflict for when the board meeting is, otherwise I'd be 
there. Perhaps I can answer any questions on-list in the meantime?

The concept is fairly simple... a tour event is a mini-conference 
featuring great talks & demos, food & drinks, and usually plenty of 
laughs and great conversations.

The events are open to anyone. There was a really nice mix of 
LocationTech, OSGeo, Apache, OSM, and other technologies and initiatives 
represented last year. We hope that will be the case again this year.

Thanks in advance for considering sponsoring. It would be wonderful to 
have a partner like OSGeo supporting this.
