Jody,
no worries, please go ahead with contacting all existing / past OSGeo
sponsors (especially the likes of GeoCat who are sponsors but do not get
properly recognized right now). I just wanted to avoid an overlap of an
extended / broad call for sponsorship.

I very much like the idea of cross referencing FOSS4G and OSGeo
sponsors. Makes total sense and would probably be a nice thing to also
bring more continuity into the sponsor relationships (we are currently
compiling yet-another-sponsor-list from the lists kindly provided by
previous conference chairs).
