Jeff, Maxi,
good point on meeting with Menno-Jan regarding ICA-OSGeo MOU.
I was thinking about meeting with Menno-Jan in person as well - I will be
in Netherlands in January 23-Feb4 and then most of April, so maybe I should
coordinate with you before asking him for a meeting/visit at his
institution. As I mentioned to George I would really like to see something
like open source cartography challenge from the ICA community - I keep
hearing complaints about rather limited capabilities in terms of
cartographic templates, symbology, etc. for open source tools so this is an
area where ICA could make a major contribution.
So let me know whether I should contact him individually or we could try
for a meeting
Helena
