Dear Kyoung-Soo,
please excuse our late reply.

FYI: Jeff McKenna stepped back from the Board of Directors and OSGeo
presidency for personal reasons and with immediate effect. For the
interim time until a new president has been elected I will answer on
behalf of the OSGeo Foundation in my role as President Emeritus. My name
is Arnulf Christl, co-founder of OSGeo, served 6 years on the board of
directors and 4 years as president.

Thank you very much for the draft letter which I have (privately)
forward to the Board of Directors for further consultation (this address
board at lists.osgeo.org is a publicly visible and archived mailing list).

There are already quite a lot of activities going on between UN
departments and offices and it would be great to have them come together
under a more formal relationship as described in the draft letter.

Feel free to contact the board through this (public list) or myself
directly until the board has sorted out who will be your dedicated
liaison officer.

Thank you and with best regards,
Arnulf Christl <http://2016.foss4g.org/index.php/sponsoring.html>
