We are all very aware that OSGeo is a community driven organization - we
should really promote the work our volunteers are doing. It can also serve
as inspiration forth others to take part.
Very much agreed, while I am keen to see the strategic plan shared - I
understand that it is primarily an inspiration rather than a roadmap.
One thing we have raised on conference committee list was a need to mend

I enjoy the balance of being both a board member and on the LocationTech
steering committee - and see many encouraging signs. The board has taken
the formal step of asking Micheal to act as our representative for
LocationTech (although OSGeo has been a guest member of LocationTech we had
gone a number of years with out a representative.) The upcoming joint
conference (foss4g-na) is another opportunity to mend bridges with a
successful event.
All the best,
Jody
