We can use also foss4g-eu.org (like foss4g-asia.org): this domain in free and we can take it without problems.

I think that is the main problem:  who should be the owner of the domain, what is the best solution that can ensure the continuity? 

So, I think is easier stay under osgeo and use the foss4g.org domain: in this case I think is better a solution like 2015eu.foss4g.org and so on for the next years.
