Dear Paul and Oscar,
we are in charge of the W14 - Practical introduction to GRASS, which is
scheduled for Tuesday morning. Coming from Italy, it is not a problem
for us to swap place with the PostGIS workshop, moving our workshop to
Monday.
I have no idea whether anybody is already registered for the workshop,
or if this possibility can be problematic in any way.

Regards, Paolo

help from OpenGeo. I'm not sure if Mark Leslie is coming. And perhaps
some folks from the PostGIS team (Mark, Regina) will be in town and can
help. I can't recall if the workshop teacher discount is for one teacher
or two?

9 hours jet lag is not the best situation to face a workshop. But
changing the timetable now could affect many people: already subscripted
attendee's plans, changing the application form on the fly, correction
announcements, etc. Let me see how much of a mess is it, but I'd rather
take the risk of having you half asleep...

ensure a better overall quality: Try to set up a team of 2 or 3
instructors per workshop. Can you think of any other PostGIS guru(s)
around the world willing to help you with it? It would avoid trouble to
third parties, increase workshop quality, and ammend the risks you
mention in case (sh)it happens. Do you agree this could be a good solution?
