I'm not only concerned about 'potency', but we also need to consider
that by adding another 'product' to OSGeo, it will increase our need
for additional branding. I know for many this is boring and simple
stuff, but for the Visibility Committee it is very stressful. We are
continually trying to tighten up our image. To add another 'facet'
to OSGeo, that can't simply share the same name, logo, web site name,
etc. it gets very confusing, at least for me.

I think we are too quickly throwing away OSGeo as if it is a bad name
- it is what we are all working for!
