Through offlist discussions the OSGeo conference committee has voted in 
overwhelming support of your bid.  We are very excited to move forward 
with your team.  I will propose this at the OSGeo Board meeting today 
(the meeting is at 17:00 UTC in #osgeo).  Please hold off on any 
announcements until the Board has supported the bid.
