[OSGeo-Discuss] Packaging an Integrated Geospatial Stack

Has anyone played with packaging things up for the VMWare Player?  Could be
an easy way (at least approach -- perhaps find OS equivalent to VM)  to have
things that would work multiple OS's.  The VMWare Player stuff that I've
played with has been pretty slick.
