[OSGeo-Discuss] Picking a name for "OSGeo Research and Education Labs Network"

Thanks Cameron. What others might not have seen is the much discussion
off-line about this today. Earlier today I pointed out that the name
"OSGeo Labs" is currently in use, and then Helena recommended "OSGeo
REL" (Research and Education Labs) which I like very much.

I also earlier recommended that Suchith or whoever install a CMS/portal
on their servers, and then we could use an osgeo subdomain such as
xxx.osgeo.org (this would get around us having to work it into our
current CMS).

I recommended the group file some SAC tickets for the subdomain creation
and mailing list creation.

Wiki: can be started right away on our OSGeo wiki! :) You could even
create your own "REL" category so all related pages are nicely viewed :)
(i sound like the arnulf-bot more and more everyday)

I am happy to see this moved to public discussion.

/me goes quiet
