some of the MapGuide folks already.

That said, you may want to ask in the mapguide-users mailing list at https://
trac.osgeo.org/mapguide#MailingLists (instead of the general OSGeo-discuss 
mailing list). If you want to fund development of the MapGuide project in 
particular so that the PHP5 issue is resolved faster, that's the place to 
offer to do so.
