----- This course is intnded to be self paced, distant learning with
classroom instructor help to subliment it. Idaho state University is
looking into taking several tutorials and making it a lab course for
credit.-----

-----Will do so. There is no copywright at this point, after all it is
open source.-----

-----Okay, at some point-----

-----I have recieved permission from each of the software developers
prior to usng their software and worked with them while writing on
their software and then several have used the tutorials at the end for
their benefit. -----

----- Self paced distant learning so that the student can complete the
course wherever thye have access to a computer-----
> How does a typical class go, are they more independently paced or

----- Each week the student is sent a portion of the tutorial with 5-10
questions to answer from their computer work.-----
> What is the instructor/nr of students ratio?
-----not applicable as it is a distant learning course-----
> How many hours of instruction?
-----about 10-30 hours per tutorial-----
> Are there any homeworks, exams?
-----About 30-40 questions for them to submit per tutorial-----
> How do you check "completed to satisfaction"?
-----I get all the tutorial questions answered and submitted back to me -----

-----okay, can I use the logo in the corner----- Where the software has
an extablished logo like Quatnum GIS, I will put that logo on the other
corner-----

----- see above, but about 40-120 total for the course-----

----- Okay, that goes with the use of the OSGEO Logo-----

----- this is already being done by some of the developers-----
