[OSGeo-Edu] Edu report at AGM

Thanks Charlie. I was going to "volunteer" you anyway :-)

I have the following thoughts -- we have many challenges ahead of us,
and not all of them are in our control. We have to still contend with
licensing of educational material and the process and stages it may
have to undergo in order to achieve the OSGeo imprimatur. We have to
find the best mechanism for publishing course and curriculum material,
and the best process by which individual researchers can create work,
retain their rights over their works, yet contribute it to OSGeo.

Others, please send your thoughts to Charlie so he can include them
appropriately in his presentation.

Thanks again Charlie. I will think of you all next week, and miss you
all. Have a ball, and a great conference.
