+1 great idea re: lunchboxes - this saves a lot of hassle.. but agree
though it would be nice to find out and look into the enviro impact of our
event.

Same goes for the coffee cups actually... whilst I love coffee and think
the events with coffee carts are great! (and also shows off another great
thing about this city ;)!), there is a lot of waste produced and as most
coffee cups aren't recyclable I think it would be good to do similar right
research there into reduce our impact... (perhaps we can even offer merch
to buy: a logo'd keep cup / reusable cup?).

On the coffee front we could look for a deal with the local coffee shops /
carts... it would need to be more than one or two as this would be a big
crowd and that might hit a cafe hard! but I have been to events before were
they have given away one free coffee, or discounted coffees (when show
badge) from a cafe - this works well as I think attendees like the
necessities(!) are thought about, but that local businesses are
incorporated. But not sure how many places near by would do that... It also
means you lose people to a walk off site - which isn't the ideal.

At RMIT there were some coffee carts which moved around depending on the
event (I am pretty sure they 'authorised' by RMIT), I wonder perhaps if
there is such a thing at Melbourne (@Martin?)

Also, presumably there are water fountains around the venue? So we can
encourage people to bring bottles too?
