I know that this is a long running debate... but I'll (re?)point out
the obvious problems of 1) someone squats on a foss4gYYYY.org domain
that is needed in the future; 2) every year one of these gets added is
another $10/yr registration fee that someone has to pay to keep the
thing up some number of years in the future. Hence the "sustainable"
option is to go with foss4g.org/YYYY. Less exciting than a shiny new
domain name each year, but probably much better for the long run. -
