No, that is not the purpose of the [conference-workshops] public list.
It already contains many of the past workshop presenters subscribed to
it, and it is used to communicate with the presenters. For private
voting discussions we will need a new private mailing list, such as
[conference-workshops-private]. In the past the LOC has set up that
private mailing list and not OSGeo (because the members of that list
will change each year). Make sense??
For example, a great use of the existing [conference-workshops] list
would be to send the extension reminder out on it.
