Hi all,

Interesting thought, though, to identify "sponsorable" objects:
awards, catering (plates, coffecups), venues and rooms, tracks, etc.
OK, perhaps "Google Gala Dinner" and "Esri Ice breaker" give a bit of
a bad taste in the mouth. What about "Gala Dinner, presented by Google"?

In sports this is a common phenomenon in several countries: e.g.
Barclays Premiership for Englands soccer competition, Croky Cup for
the Belgium soccer cup. In Germany it's less common I guess. The
"Bundesliga" is still "Bundelsliga" without a sponsor-prefix.

But not just in sports, also in congresses it's not uncommon to have a
sponsorship even for individual talk or keynotes.

Just curious: any other thoughts on what we regard as acceptable items
to be sponsored?

Regards,

GJ
