FYI, I solved this problem using Oracle's TO_CHAR() function.

	I'm using OGR's ExecuteSQL() datasource method and it appears
DATE and TIMESTAMP fields are ignored. Anyone know how to get dates out
or oracle using OGR without having to open a second connection to the DB
using DBI?
