Mateusz added the KML read part to SVN.
Changes from last report:
- exporting LineString and Polygon works now
- exporting more tags as fields - description also exported
- get the layer extend works now

Not yet implemented:
- export with filters
- special case handling (GeometryCollections)

My next task are the GeometryCollections.

Please have a look at svn and give it a try.
