The manual implies that the -b and -burn options are optional but they appear
to be mandatory.  Giving just a source and destination results in the usage
message.  The only option noted as mandatory is -l but if only -l is used then
the misspelled and confusing message is "To many of -3d, -burn and -a specified".
That is issued even when none of the mentioned options have been specified.
So, just minor usage and documentation issues really.  Thanks for your help.

I'm having other problems trying to overlay a coastline onto an image with
vectors taken from a different part of the world being smeared across it
but that's for a subsequent message ;-)
