[gdal-dev] Converting 3D Polygons to 2D Polygons?

Hello,

Is there some way to convert 3D objects to 2D polygons using ogr2ogr?

I have a large file with lots of polygons with 0 as the z coordinate. So the point would look like [1,2,0].

I would like it to be: [1,2].
