[gdal-dev] gdalbuildvrt could not use worldfile

Dear Idan,


thank you for your input.


I use the .vrt step to assemble a group of tif's to one common file.

In a second step I use something like

gdal_translate -of GTiff -co COMPRESS=LZW -co tiled=yes maps.vrt maps.tiff

But the maps.tiff has no georeference data's as well.


This two steps works well with other Geotiff tiles, but maybe there's a 
more easy way to create one map from several tiles.
