Paul, AIXM is far too complex to be read completely by ogr, at least two years ago.
You need some of the specific AIXM readers that is in the market.

I’m trying to read a XML (AIXM) file. But ogrinfo says it can’t be read with either KML, KMZ or GML installed drivers (among other formats).
Is there anything I must do, the GML, KML, KMZ drivers are there. I’m working in Windows 10.
