Hi Franz-Josef,
So it seems that your idea is similar to the one developed by AICA which
established ECDL GIS exams
(http://www.ecdl.org/programmes/index.jsp?p=771&n=772), isn't it?
However, ECDL GIS is not a worldwide initiative. It exists in only few
countries in Europe (for example in Poland). So that's the biggest
difference :-)
