[Geomoose-users] search on more than one layer - GM 2.0

Hello,

 

I would like to set up GM 2.0 to search for more than one layer, and I am
having difficulty setting it up.  Is there any documentation on how to get
multiple searches working?

 

In detail:

I was trying to add another search for a second layer.  I looked at the code
for itemquery.php and noticed that that the input value layers gets exploded
which to me implies that we can use the search service for more than one
layer. - $layersToSearch = explode(':', $qlayers);

Therefore, I modified the search service to include ditches in the
mapbook.xml file <input type="hidden" name="layer"
value="parcels/all:Ditches/all"/>  However when I did that I received errors.

 

Since that did not work I reverted to copied search_parcels to
search_ditches.  Next, I modified the user_tools.css file so to include
search ditches as well.  After testing a search the only message I received
is that no results were returned for your query.
