[Geomoose-users] Multiple Geomoose sites

Rick,

I think the call up order is:

Htdocs\geomoose.html
Htdocs\compiled.js
Htdocs\php\getmapbook.php
Htdocs\php\config.php
Conf\settings.ini
Conf\mapbook_demo.html

You have two choices:
1) You could modify those files to create a second gm2 site however, most of
the functions in the php directory link to index.php. You would end up
having to modify all of those functions if your site uses different data.

2) It might be easier to copy the entire geomoose2 directory to a new
directory. You will need to set up a virtual directory by making a copy of
\ms4w\httpd.d\httpd_geomoose2_ms4w.conf.

* I think all of the directories are relative in GM2 so you won't have to
search for ms4w\apps\geomoose2 in every file then change it to
ms4w\apps\mysecondgeomoose

* You would have to repeat your work for any updates to geomoose

In GM 2.0, which files need to be copied to make multiple sites within
GeoMoose? I've noticed a few but want to double check with the experts.

It seems like it should be:

Mapbook.xml in the CONF folder
Possible Settings.ini in CONF folder
Possibly compiled.js in htdocs folder
GeoMoose.html in htdocs folder

A lot of those seem similar to the GM 1.6.1, but was unsure of the path that
GeoMoose takes when it is launched.

I assume it is Geomoose.html then compiled.js and then references to the
other two along the way

If you could shed some light on exactly which files we need to change if we
are making a simple application, as well as which files need to be
duplicated/copied for multiple applications.

Thanks,
