Yes, I've been monitoring the some of the chatter between OSM, HOT, and
the Red Cross regarding identifying the destroyed houses.
As for using nadir video in GIS, it may be useful in disaster situations
(cloud and smoke could be a problem). At present there are very few
satellites able to provide it, but that may change....
