Hi Jonathan,

There is some documentation on how to migrate from 2.4 to 2.10 by Olivier
Dalang's SPCgeonode:
https://github.com/olivierdalang/SPCgeonode#how-to-migrate-from-an-existing-standard-geonode-install

I needed to add some manual work on the permissions but I was able to
migrate successfully.

Best,

Paolo
