[GeoNode-devel] Has command sync_geofence been deprecated?

Hi devs,

In the documentation it is mentioned the command sync_geofence:
http://docs.geonode.org/en/master/tutorials/admin/admin_mgmt_commands/#sync-geofence

But I get unknown command when I try to run it.
Is sync_geofence the same as sync_geonode_layers?

Is there a command to sync the permissions without updating the thumbnails?
