[GeoNode-users] Disabling Layer Upload logged-in users

Hello All,

I have installed GeoNode on an Ubuntu 14.04 virtual machine. It is working quite well, thanks for all your efforts.

I have two questions about the tool:

1. All registered users seem to be able to upload a new layer. I would like to limit this, either to a specific group that I may define, or to only staff.
Is this possible? I could not find any relevant setting, or any relevant documentation on this.
I've found this reply: https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/213951/geonode-restrict-upload but it does not explain how I can do this.

2. I am trying to integrate GeoNode with Active Directory, and if possible, Kerberos/SAML. I've already integrated GeoServer with Active Directory, but I'm having problems doing the same with GeoNode. Could you help me out with this?
I've found this link: http://docs.geonode.org/en/latest/tutorials/admin/ldap/index.html?highlight=ldap - the settings are not the same with GeoServer, so I'm a little stumped.

Thank you very much for your time.

Kind regards,
