[GeoNode-users] Backup problem

Dear Alessio,

We have done everything following your instructions. I sent you in attachment both files.
We have also double checked all settings from this link: http://docs.geonode.org/en/master/tutorials/install_and_admin/geonode_install/create_geonode_db.html#users-and-permissions
Unfortunately backup command is still asking for password for every layer.

The pg_dump command works well, as far as I can see. And also the GeoServer backup is completed successfully.

However you might want to double check your default settings for the backup command on the file

geonode/geonode/base/management/commands/settings.ini

in order to avoid pg_dump asking for the password everytime, you need to change the postgres security settings for local access. Please see here

Which version of GeoNode? Recently some fixes to the backup script have been pushed on latest GeoNode versions.
