[GeoNode-users] Preferred installation method for productin

Dear Alessio,

now I´m a bit puzzled as Daniel was not asking for theming (with project) but installing by apt and 
to make sure apt upgrade does not break things, right?

An automatic
package upgrade process did not finish and my GeoNode install went the way
of the Dodo.

I though about installing using the PPA repo and then turning the
repository off from my sources.list, to prevent unwanted upgrades. 

Correct me if I´m wrong but virtualenv will not protect him here ?
