[GeoNode-users] GeoNode migration from 2.4 to 2.8

Dear Muhammad,
the old version of GeoNode/GeoServer used an obsolete authentication method
which therefore is no more available on the new GeoServer versions.

The exception you are experiencing are caused, most probably, by some wrong
security/config.xml file on your geoserver data directory.

You should compare the security folder with the one provided with

http://build.geonode.org/geoserver/latest/data-2.13.x.zip

Also you should finalize your GeoNode configuration with OAuth2 by
following the guidelines here

Also this doc, nevertheless it is a bit outdated, could be useful in order
to make some comparison between old configuration files and new ones
