Dear Silivia,

I´m unsure if I´m understanding this correctly. Your layers appear on
a map but when you zoom-in / zoom-out in other words work with the layer
they disappear? Is that right? Unfortunately your images where filtered by the list software
can you provide them somewhere else? Or even a short video that shows
this behavior?
Regarding your I/O Error. My guess is something is misconfigured with your application
URI´s (Allessio to the help? ;). I would double check with the documentation if everything is correct.

And just to be sure - you´ve said you have reinstalled geoserver. You´ve picked the
right version for your geonode, right (http://build.geonode.org/ <http://build.geonode.org/>)?
cheers,
Toni
