[GeoNode-users] Customizing GeoNode 2.8.0 with geonode-project

HI Seno,

I tried to work on a similar project. It seems that the best thing to do is
to have both geonone (long-term) and geonode-project dev/my_geonode
installed in the same virtualenv. I worked hard trying to customize
geonode installed via apt-get using the configuration in geonode-project
dev. So, I changed my approach, and I just installed geonode following the
tutorial in here
<http://docs.geonode.org/en/master/tutorials/install_and_admin/geonode_install/install_geonode_application.html>
and now, I am going to install geonode-project dev as in here
<https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode-project>, both in the same virtualenv.

I hope it helps.

Best regards

Julierme
