[GeoNode-users] Layer Search tool in the map

Hi all,
We are using Geonode as our geoportal site and now we where thinking in the possibility of adding a layer search tool within a map. 
I mean, adding the layer directly into the map like we do in the layers page.
Is it possible?
I know we can do layer search according to the layers name, but we would like to add the search using its metadata.
