[GeoNode-users] SLD-Styling in GUI

Hi everyone,

while I was doing a test regarding SLDs on the sheet thankfully provided by Alessio, I was wondering if this is still a thing: https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/issues/3861

Styling in GeoNode with MapStore works flawlessly, but doing the same within GeoExplorer, only owners and admins are allowed to change or create new styles.
Users with the permission to edit styles can create new Styles but are receiving 403 with the message "Can't delete style referenced by existing layers".

Is there any chance to get this working in GeoExplorer? Should I open a new / reopen an old issue on this?
