[GeoNode-users] access geonode layer via basic auth

Hi together, Is there a possibility to access the GeoNode WMS-layers with basic auth (e.g. in QGIS)? The background is, that I would like to provide a WMS-URL access to certain users. The user should be able to use this WMS in QGIS or even in a another webpage (may be using a proxy to do the basic auth) Does anybody has some experience in this field or even already tried the same?
