The current embedded EPSG database is version 6.18. Latest EPSG database available on http://www.epsg.org at the time of writing is 7.1. Note that this is a change in the major version number. However a quick look gives the impression that the database schema is about the same. Nevertheless this upgrade may require more attention than usual.
