Grass display on PC X-Windows emulator

Dear All,

Thanks to Joe in Perth (Aust), I have the solution.  I changed my screen
settings on my PC to 256 colours (from 16bit colour) and it works.

I hope this helps someone else.  It is going to make a really big difference
here.
