Hi developers, Hi Markus,

is the problem with the void pointer arithmetics in segment lib (file
get_row.c) solved?

What about compiling on IRIX? Has someone succeeded in compiling beta8
from CVS on IRIX? I had no luck and got no response until now.

Sorry, i am busy with other projects right now so that i am not able to
verify my changes for datum support. Everything is ready for release,
but i couldn't run a test with known data/verify against another
implementation.

I would propose to wait some more days so that we can incorporate some
more fixes in beta8.

Another observation: The d.mon -L bug only occurs on Linux, on IRIX
everything is ok. I read the code and experimented with it, but i
couldn't find the problem. This is something for the signal
specialists/system programmers from BSD and SYSV.

cu,

Andreas
