[GRASS5] configure doesn't find MATHLIB

Hello,

Trying to compile the latest CVS tree, configure doesn't seem to be able to 
find the mathlib (I get @MATHLIB@). And it doesn't seem to be the only library 
not found. libm.a is in /usr/lib, so it should be found. Where does configure 
check for the libs ?
