Good idea, done in CVS.

v.in.sites.all -r
Processing jr12april02.3d -> jr12april02_3d_points
Input format: dimension: 3   strings: 1   FP:0
...

Still the memory problem persists (still hoping for benchmarks
as suggested by Radim).
