[GRASS-dev] [bug #5191] (grass) GRASS_WISH environment did not istall properly

Subject: GRASS_WISH environment did not istall properly 

Platform: WindowsNT/2000/XP
grass obtained from: Mirror of Trento site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries
GRASS Version: 6.3.x

After running the grass_inst.bat file I opened the grass.bat file and the command window that popped up reported that the Grass_wish environment did not respond as expected... following this window is the classic Location and Mapset command line page, followed by the option to pick your coordinate system. Instead of following this option with the next step, it then asks for a brief one line description, and rejects any response I've tried with an 'incorrect syntax' error message.
 I will try and figure out more about the problem myself, as I realise this is a beta version, and respond with the solution, or at least more details surrounding the problem.

BTW thanks for making a grass binary native to windows, as much as I'd like to switch over to linux full time, I work in Windows, and can't find the time... perhaps it'll be creeping up on Arc soon...
