I could not get it to compile in the add-ons (probably i need to set  
up some grass parameters, etc).    My understanding is that not  
everything that's in the trunk goes into the release brunch, that's  
why I thought it is safe and simpler to put it there.  We can revert  
that and move it in the addons; just let me know.
