 Even %.15g won't match what's in the vector's bbox, and again I wonder out
 loud if this is worth worrying about, or if it should just be declared a
 feature in the v.voronoi help page.

 See comment:13 for a suggestion to avoid entries in a number of manuals
 like "g.region vect=myvect is not enough, you must adjust the region with
 g.region -a or g.region n=n+x s=s-x e=e+x w=w-x"
