Out of Memory message

When performing vector commands, I almost always recieve an Out of Memory
message.  Our system has plenty of memory, and I am working on VERY small
areas (relatively speaking).  

It has come to my attention that we may need to update some modules and that
would eliminate this error.  Does anyone out there know which modules these
are and where they are.
